The movie was filmed at the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like this year-round
Scenario
Alana Higman, a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family vie to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest, which is judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick. Get Happily Fed Up – Follow along with this year’s series of romantic holiday movies you can watch from the comfort of your own home. The locations where the Higman Family Store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ Restaurant were located are also family-run businesses in real life.
Also, I’m not a Chiefs fan
Also, the square is lit up with Christmas lights, just like in the movie. There was too much hype about this movie, even “live”; updates during every commercial break of the movie before it. To me, they are the current evil empire of the NFL.
I loved this movie
(In fact, they have some very prominent cast members, and I use the term “evil” as an exaggeration.) But I’ve returned to my obsession with watching every Christmas movie premiere on at least five channels. It was very different from normal, and it may have snowed, but there were no snow fights or many of the other items on the Christmas movie checklist. Tyler Hains and Hunter King have very good chemistry, almost what I would call crackling at times.
I found the acting a bit mixed
The story initially captivated me with the quest to win the fan contest, and then I look toward the end of the obstacle near the end. Hynes was calm but relaxed as usual. The character of King had attractive qualities, but he also had certain neuroses, particularly his complete obsession with superstition.
However, I had mixed feelings about the ending, especially after setting up the story
(I realize these feelings are somewhat contradictory.) As I said, I’m not a Chiefs fan, so I didn’t recognize many episodes, but there seemed to be a few.
