However, I’m starting to worry a little that this is going too far in the “Lost” direction. While "Lost" was also fantastic in terms of acting, direction, etc., what annoyed me in the end was how much of a mystery there was, just to be mysterious. Watching the second season, I always found myself getting a little annoyed when another weird thing happened. mainly because I can’t help but think, “Will this have any significance in the long run?
This is just one of those things” where there’s a mysterious mist-being, an opening or a light, etc
It’s never mentioned again, and it’s never explained again Because such mysterious writings end up just annoying, since the writer can reach into their backs and pull out anything and never circle back to it again “Okay, then a llama in a red hat whispering the words "paleontological" and "spatula"!” and that’s it, a season later it was forgotten, no explanation, it was just there to be weird. I’ll still watch it though, but if this ends one day with just "it was all.” in his head!"and he’s not even trying to tie any thematic logic to it, then look at this review at least 2-3 points down…
