Scenario
This acclaimed animated tale from director Hayao Miyazaki follows schoolgirl Satsuke and her younger sister Mei as they move into an old farmhouse with their father while their mother recovers from an illness at a local hospital. As the sisters explore their new home, they encounter and befriend the playful spirits in their house and the nearby forest, most notably a massive, cuddly creature known as Totoro.
