"Mufasa: The Lion King" invites Rafiki to pass on the legend of Mufasa to the young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, and lend his signature to Timon and Pumbaa. The story will be remembered as Mufasa is an orphaned cub who is lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, heir to the royal bloodline. The chance meeting begins an expansive journey for an unlikely group of misfits in search of their destiny – their relationships will be tested as they work together to escape a menacing and deadly enemy.
